Shawermania

Being a vegetarian, never came across Shawermania to be a place to dine in but recently read a few good reviews and really wanted to try. Hubby and I decided to dine here on thrursday night. IMG_4920Shawermania is located below Geant supermarket at cluster Q in JLT. We reached there by 9:30 and it was crowded outside. So we occupied a table indoors. The decor inside is decent and is maintained well. On one side of the wall has a stone texture while the other is a see through shawarma station. We weren’t sure what to order so asked their staff to suggest us. Trust me, they know what they are doing. They brought halloumi cheese steak and falafel platter for started and kashkawan cheese sandwiches for main. For drinks I ordered virgin mojito.

Halloumi cheese was excellently made and tasted really well with baby tomatoes but what I personally was looking forward was for a dip to enhance the taste. It was warm and the texture of the cheese was feast to my tastebuds.
Falafel were made fresh and was piping hot, tasted delicious with the dip. Kashkawan cheese sandwich was more or less like a wrap filled with fresh veggies, cheese, and mustard sauce. This stood up to my expectations every single bite.
In fact, halloumi cheese and kashkawan cheese sandwich tasted so good that I ordered for another round of it.
Halloumi cheese is truly an addiction. It left me craving for more and more.
Virgin mojito was chilled, prefect blend, right quantity. Highly recommended since the summer is here and this drink is perfect from all angles.

The outdoor seating is perfect for a warm summer night surrounded by nature and silence to enjoy a virgin mojito or their refreshing drink from their shakemania and freshmania collection.

IMG_4913Shawermania doesn’t limit itself to Lebanon cuisine but also servers pancakes, crepes and coffees.

Before we left, we met their owner/manager, who was very kind and spoke about how passionate he is about his restaurant and staff. He suggested us to have moroccan tea but we had no space left. So next time I go to Shawermania, I’ll surely order for Moroccan tea.

Despite serving such tasty food in decent quantity, their scores on zomato is low, which is a shock. Definitely worth visiting Shawermania again and again, after all who doesn’t want to be treated well, serve delicious food and still doesn’t harm our pockets?
I will definitely go back to try their other veg options and drinks.
If you are around JLT, do give Shawermania a try. It’s worth the try.!!
Happy eating 🙂
